GENEVER LAB GROUP
UNIVERSITY OF YORK, BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Our work is focused on identifying cellular and molecular pathways that regulate differentiated tissue function, primarily in skeletal and haematopoietic systems (bone, cartilage, marrow, blood). This requires an understanding of the fundamental signalling mechanisms that determine stem cell fate, tissue remodelling, repair and regeneration and how to apply this knowledge to treat human disease conditions.
The Genever Group is located within the Department of Biology at the University of York and housed in purpose-built teaching and research laboratories at the west end of the University campus.
