York Graduate Symposium 2017

The annual graduate symposium provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to present their work, with first years producing posters and final year students giving talks. Sam Hollings gave an enlightening talk on the potential of strontium containing bioactive glass in orthopaedic implants. Sam Hollings and David Kuntin also placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the annual photo competition with their photos of 'research in action'.

Matt Walker was also announced as the winner of the KM Stott Prize for his second year talk on his work on functionalised nanoparticles.
